My background as a Tour Guide in Rome

I have an MA in Archaeology with a specialization in Neolithic Age. As a student, I joined archaeological campaigns in Bronze Age and Neolithic sites in central and southern Italy, and such as the Forum of Trajan of Rome, in the Imperial Fora.

My life: my wines and my story

I live in the Frascati DOCG wine making region, only a few miles away from Rome.
I never stop tasting and studying wine, I participate in wine tasting classes and seminars to always be updated on new trends, soils, territories, and stories of winemakers. A wine story is an inspiring sensory experience: it’s about culture, history, love and passion.

I am a huge white wines lover: Franciacorta DOCG Satèn and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC are amongst my favourites. Rosé wines are unexpected discoveries, especially those made with grape varieties from my area, where volcanic soils give them a unique minerality.

My grandfather, a peasant from Norcia (Umbria), used to make his own wine when I was a child: I still vividly remember the smell of his barrique inside the cellar, and the noise of the wine pouring out into bottles. To me, it was pure magic.

I am passionate about creating wine and food experiences; this way I am able to share my profound interest in Italian culture, the habits, food, and way of living. Rome and the famous area of the so called “Roman Castles”, Castelli Romani in Italian, are my wine destinations.
So, this is me!
